Laser resurfacing is a facial rejuvenation procedure that uses laser energy to improve the skin's appearance of pigment and texture. This type of treatment removes the thin outer layer of skin and heats the underlying skin, which stimulates the growth of collagen — a protein that improves skin firmness and texture. As the epidermis heals and regrows, the treated area appears smoother and tighter.

What to Expect During Treatment...
Your technician will begin by consulting with you to determine the primary area of concern and best treatment options before starting your procedure. We’ll review your medical history to ensure you are a candidate for Laser Resurfacing. In order to track the progress of the targeted area, we’ll take photos of the area of treatment. You will be numbed with a topical numbing cream, which will take full affect in roughly 10-15 minutes after application. Your expert technician will then clean the treatment area, and begin the Laser Resurfacing treatment. The procedure duration is dependent on the size of the area being treated, but most patients can expect to be in the office for 45 minutes to an hour on average.
