One of the most advanced techniques today, FaceTite/AccuTite is capable of tightening and lifting sagging skin in the face, chin, and neck, while also reducing unwanted fat in the same areas. The non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure uses FDA-approved devices that deliver controlled radiofrequency energy to the target area. The heat caused by this process contracts the fat as well as stimulates the body’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin—proteins necessary for the repair and rejuvenation of tissue. The result is smoother, firmer skin and diminished fat in the target area.
Due to the innovation of this technology, we are usually treating multiple areas of the face while performing this procedure. Common areas that are targeted using Accutite/FaceTite may include:
Patients who are looking for a solution for some of the common signs of facial aging, but who do not wish (or need) to undergo surgery, usually make the best candidates for the procedure. However, though this treatment works on almost all skin types, keep in mind that this treatment is not right for everyone, and so a consultation is required to determine candidacy.
A consultation is required prior to scheduling for Accutite/ FaceTite.
On the day of your procedure, you will be prescribed medication to relax you and we will infiltrate the treatment area with an anesthetic solution for your comfort before we begin. Because this treatment is only minimally invasive, patients are awake and alert during the entirety of the treatment. In most cases, we complete the procedure in about two hours, and you’re free to return home afterward. Please note that you will need someone else to drive you as we do use an anesthetic.
One of the advantages of AccuTite/ FaceTite is that, unlike a surgical facelift, there’s much less downtime afterward. We advise you to take time to rest for the first few days following the procedure, as you might experience some discomfort, which is easily remedied with ice packs and over-the-counter medications.
We also supply you with a compression garment, which you will wear according to our instructions for at least 72 hours.
